A whole new level of dance training
Are you ready to take risks, to fall, to trust, to do something you have never done before… to go beyond the box you have been dancing in?
At HUMANHOOD, we learn to access the universal language of the body while tapping into our unique expression, to stop letting the memorised shapes control our expression, to open up every part that is still holding tight, either in our mind or in our body, and we let the flow move freely. This is when virtuosity emerges, when we get to be surprised by our own movement, when every time we get to dance we discover something new.
This career training with us goes beyond mere physicality, it’s a process where you learn to honour your body as a way to access the genius dancer within.
Who is this for?
Our Training Intensive is created for professional & vocational dancers who have a passion for HUMANHOOD’s approach to movement and choreographic style and want to train directly with the company., and/or are eager to pursue a career path with the company.
During a minimum of 5 hours daily, a full dive into the company’s movement practice and choreographic language while learning full repertoire sections of the company’s acclaimed productions.
This immersive training experience guided by our Julia and Rudi as well as company dancers is your chance to train in person with our company and feel what it’s like to move like a HUMANHOOD dancer.
What You’ll Learn:
Inner Dynamics
You will be introduced to the ‘behind the scenes’ energetic practices and mind-blowing teachings that Julia and Rudi share with the company dancers, which are part of the company’s unique holistic ethos.
Our Philosophy
It’s not only how you move, it’s mainly about who you are while you move. You will learn to listen within and receive the movement, instead of doing it.
You will also take part in the screening of We, HUMANHOOD and INFINITY – the company’s documentary and BBC dance-film.
Beyond Improvisation
HUMANHOOD company dancers go beyond their patterns over and over again. We encourage you to fall over, to do things you have never done before, so something new can arise in your physicality. Our improvisations are designed to take you to a whole new level of awareness of your movement and embodiment.
Company Repertoire
You’ll learn HUMANHOOD’s choreographic repertoire including productions ‘Torus’, ‘Infinite’ & ‘VORTEX’ as well as embody the intention behind the work as our dancers do when they perform on stages around the world.

The training includes:
- 10 days, 5h/day in-person training with the company
- Screening of documentary We,HUMANHOOD and INFINITY during the first week of the training
- Direct and personal feedback by Julia & Rudi and HUMANHOOD Company Dancers
This year’s fee for the Training Intensive is
£944 for the full 2 weeks and £555 for 1 week.
